TLLT, How it started

I have always been told I have a unique way of seeing the world and have fun weaving stories connecting one part of nature to another.
Through Flickr and its vast collection of photos I have been able to make these connections come to life visually and to gently expand the view of the earth we share. We are so interconnected in shapes and colors, we live on a single floating rock, maybe that's why.
I like to think of the man in Africa and the woman in the US who have come together with others through their pictures to tell one whimsical story. Will they ever meet? Probably not. But in one small space of web they are unexpectedly side by side becoming a part of a visual tale or poem.
This way of seeing the world blend always makes me smile.

"Blog This" I only use Flickr pictures where the blog function is enabled. This means the photographer has allowed their pictures to be used in blogs. I only want to include people who don't mind being brought into a web world like this. I do not just take what I see.

this one is my favorite. It looks like it could have been from one vertical panoramic shot
to elaborate, it looks like a place very familiar to me at a beach in Southern California. The background design on your page makes the concrete wall which has nearly identical art painted by the locals. It used to be like that anyway, two years ago two employees from the Orange County Public Works (in uniform and driving county owned vehicle) visited the beach in broad daylight and defaced the art (the graffiti was their rendition of a a light grey concrete wall 22ft long)I called the couny public works dept. but they accused me of smoking crack. I just laughed and told them if they weren't going to take my complaint seriously that I will then bill them 35 cents for my payphone call. they got agitated so i told them to forget it and I can either just pay them 2 cents (the difference between the 37 cent stamp I would have to buy and the 35 cent charge) or the next time I find change in the phone I was going to keep it. They hung up, after that when i did the same I heard my money fall into the return slot. I started to take my money and leave but instead i used it to call them back to say thank you.
I love that story :)
